Tempt My Tummy Tuesday
*If you're looking for the New England Bloggers May Day giveaway, it's one post down*
I received my Martha Stewart's Everyday Food Magazine yesterday and found a recipe for blueberry-almond granola. I love granola, especially in my yogurt, but it's so expensive at the market...this is easy enough to make and will definitely save money instead of buying the containers of granola!! Though the recipe is for blueberry- almond, the recipe is easy enough for you to modify and make whatever kind is your favorite...
Makes 4 cups
Ingredients
2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1/2 cup sliced almonds
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons honey
1 cup dried blueberries
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. On a large rimmed baking sheet, toss oats, coconut, and almonds. In a small bowl, stir together oil and honey. Pour over oat mixture and toss. Bake, tossing occasionally, until lightly toasted, 16 to 20 minutes.
Place mixture in a large bowl and stir in blueberries. (To store, keep in an airtight container, up to 1 month.)

I don't usually bake/cook but I've been looking for any easy breakfast food - I think I'll try this with yogurt in the morning - thanks!
I've never made granola, but this recipe looks so easy (and delicious) that I think I am going to try it. Thanks for sharing!
That looks good. Thanks for the recipe and linking up.
Mmmmmmmmm that sounds really good!
I love granola but have never made it myself. I will have to give this recipe a try. Thanks for sharing!
I might make this if I can find the blueberries....I also am going to try making my own yogurt. It's supposed to be really easy and inexpensive!
That seems easy enough I'm gonna try it. My kids need more of a variety for snacks they love crunchy stuff and the store bought is just too expensive. Thanks!
